I come from a Pilates teacher back ground. I always need to work a flexible schedule no matter what I do. Flexibility isn't enough when you have a family of 4 and a strong travel bug!! I also needed a business to fit my flexible schedule. This business is exactly that. So we decided to take our family with the business on a 3 month trip to Australia and South East Asia. I have to pinch myself that this is my reality now. A business that is truly flexible!!

Let me introduce myself. I’m Susan
I’ve been in the corporate world for most of my life but when, one day, the rug was pulled out from under me and my job was outsourced to another country, I was truly at sea. During those years, I had also been involved with direct sales and network marketing companies. It came to me when the last one went bankrupt that it was the product I loved but not the business model. With no job or business, I was at a crossroads.
Being a mum and an active grandma with personal, family and community activities as part of my life, I wanted the freedom to just take off when I wanted. And being able to work wherever with my laptop and phone is the only way to go. Even the flexibility to just kick back and read a good book out on the patio or in front of a roaring fire in the winter snuggling with my cat was such an appealing thought. Or going for a coffee with friends.

Things that are important to me needed to be included in my plan for the future, in whatever I chose to do. I’ve always liked being outside, hiking and enjoying all the summer and winter activities and being with my kids, grandkids and friends. Continuing my activities as a volunteer was a definite must. So a new direction had to give me the freedom to do all those things and also take on anything new that came my way.
MY PROBLEM - Did I want to go back to the corporate workforce? I felt that there had to be something else but what? Was I willing to take another chance at a business? I knew that the next business venture I explored needed to be within an industry that I was passionate about, and the business model needed to stand the test of time.
WHAT DIDN’T WORK FOR ME - I was tired of working in a job where I had to commute long distances, work long hours and still not be paid what I felt I was worth. My own business gave me joy but I knew I needed something where I wasn’t always asking family and friends, where I didn’t need an inventory, where I didn’t have to carry around samples in my car. And definitely, it had to be a business that gave me a lucrative income.
SUCCESS HABITS: All along I had been somewhat involved in personal development (though I didn’t realize it at the time). I would read books and go to seminars in the hopes of improving my life. Nothing seemed to stick though it was leading me in the right direction. When the last business with which I was affiliated went bankrupt, providence happened. A friend connected with me about a business that she was having a great deal of success with.
NOW A BOOMING BUSINESS: I made the decision to step past my fear and move forward with that business and am so grateful I took that step. This business has given me so much, has helped me to grow in a community of like minded people. It has that strong business model where you can attain those very high levels of income.
